Melissa's Life Journal

I love God more than anything in this world. I am not perfect and mess up from time to time. Though my heart is true and He knows it.

Never

Judges 17, 18; Psalm 89; 2 Corinthians 3

Psalm 89:30-37
“If his sons forsake my law and do not follow my statutes, 31 if they violate my decrees and fail to keep my commands, 32 I will punish their sin with the rod, their iniquity with flogging; 33 but I will not take my love from him, nor will I ever betray my faithfulness. 34 I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered. 35 Once for all, I have sworn by my holiness— and I will not lie to David— 36 that his line will continue forever and his throne endure before me like the sun; 37 it will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah

God is faithful to the promises He has made with His people. He makes covenants with certain people because He knows where their line will go. David was specific, God wanted him to know that no matter what happens his word remains true. God doesn't say something than backs out because someone is misbehaving. God keeps His word true. NO.MATTER.WHAT.

As I sit here and think that i want to be Christ like, the first thing i need to do is keep my word true. When i say something, i need to do it. When i promise something, i need to comply. Comply with Gods word and my own. God gave me words and a voice not for deception but to make a difference. I am to bring a change in this world, but it won't happen if people can't trust my words. And Gods faithfulness, will never change. NEVER.

Lord, Thank you for your faithfulness and love. I know that when i look back you never do. When i do things I've said i wouldn't, you still accept me open arms. When I promise something that i can't keep, you remain true. I forever love you always Amen
